Hindus, don't be a fool for Catholic April Fool's Day

I just wanted to send out a quick post today, on April 1st, to all my Hindu brothers and sisters, because I have noticed that many of you have been engaging in the April Fool's frivolity, innocently not knowing that you are actually being fooled by the Catholic Church. What is the origins of April fool's day and why is it so foolish for Hindus to be involved in this Holiday?

First I want every Hindu to think about why it is they are saying "April Fool's Day"... is "April" actually a Hindu month, part of any Hindu Calendar?  No, April is a Christian month, imposed upon the entire world by the Church of Rome.  Many of you many not know that today, we live under the Gregorian Calendar, meaning that our entire lives are synchronized under the birth and death of Jesus Christ.  We are now in the year 2017, but 2017 years of what?  2017 marks 2017 years since the death of Jesus and thus 2017 years of global Christian rule, a rule that has lead to nothing but bloodshed, colonialism, hatred, lies, theft and genocide.

While the name of the month "April" comes from pagan Roman times, this month was stolen by the Christians because they have no real cultural achievements of their own.  But what does this have to do with the Catholic Church?  All Hindus know that traditionally, Hindus and Pagans did not celebrate the New Year on January 1st, but all Hindu and Pagan calendars have the New Year celebration on or near the Spring Equinox.  Now when the Catholic Church was subverting Pagan Rome, they needed to uproot the old Pagan culture, even on the level of the pagan calendar.

The common academic understating of the origins of April Fool's day is that in 1582, when Pope Gregory XIII decreed the adoption of the “Gregorian calendar” — named after himself — he moved New Year’s Day from the end of March to Jan. 1. Why did he do this?  The Catholic Church moved the New Year to January 1st to coincide with another false and made up holidays of theirs, Christmas. Nowhere in the bible does it say that Jesus was born on December 25th, but this date was a popular time for the worship of sun avatars in the pagan world, and so the Christians put the birth of their false messiah on this very day.  But why put New Year's on January 1st?  In Israelite culture, it was customary to circumcise boys 8 days after their birth; January 1st is 8 days after December 25th, is a celebration of the circumcision of Jesus, and is actually known as the "Feast of the Circumcision of Christ".

So what does this feast of genital mutilation have to do with April Fool's? Well, in Pagan Rome, there were holiday festivals which took place around the pagan New Year ending in early April.  Likely to discourage these festivals, Pope Gregory XIII moved the New Year to January 1st to discourage these festivals and to get the populace celebrating the violation of Jesus.  But in these olden times, news did not travel very quickly, and it took some years for all of the Catholic world to get the memo that the Vatican have moved the New Year to January 1st, and so those Christians who still celebrated the New Year on April 1st were called "April Fool's".

While many of the customs surrounding modern day April Fools do have pagan origins, the name and intent of the holiday is Christian, you are pulling pranks to make fun of those who have not yet understood that under the New Christian reign we are to celebrate the New Years in January, not April. Now that I have shown you some of the origins of April Fool's Day, I hope that many Hindus will now begin to boycott this festival and work to return Hindu calendars to replace those of our oppressors.
